Playa Blanca Town Once
a small fishing village in the most southerly tip of Lanzarote, Playa
Blanca has developed into a quite large resort.Playa Blanca has a promenade along the sea front. Despite being a recent development every effort has been made to match the traditional with the modern and as one will see, it has been a great success. Not far from the quaint fishing village lies the island's most beautiful beach, Papaqayo. This is really a true paradise almost unequalled anywhere else in the world.  There are numerous restaurants, bars and shops but the old town is still much quieter than Puerto del Carmen. Why not take a trip on the ferry or catamaran to the neighboring island of Fuerteventura.
